I had a ton of fun with this section. I’m really happy with the outcome. Seeing it all put together is a rewarding experience!
I started rendering the images right from the start positions to fiddle with the lighting.
I looked up some refs online to see examples of a chess board in progress.
Then I decided to see what it looked like smoothed over !
Overall, I learned a ton from this course, including that I need to pay more attention to my objects location. It proved to be difficult to get pieces like the knight to work the way I wanted it to. I will watch that more carefully going forward!
