The image on the left side is with the “good” palette and the image on the right side is with the “bad” palette.
I tried to follow the instructor’s method for choosing the color values in the “good” palette as he demonstrated in the lecture.
For the “bad” palette, I used my old accustomed method of only changing the brightness, without changing either the saturation or hue.
Already I can see a distinct difference between the two images as a result. This knowledge alone (palette selection using also both hue and saturation, instead of exclusively only brightness) is already worth the time and expense of taking this course!
