Error Message when trying to transform upper arm

I am getting this error message

“Cannot select linked when sync selection is enabled.”

when i am trying to move the upper bone which has been linked to upper arm.

My entire arm of Lamp is paralyzed, I get the same error message throughout.

You are trying to edit the pose in rest mode- this article will help further

You gave an entire lecture on Pose position and Rest position but yet I made the mistake. But Blender’s this error message doesn’t give the clue as to how to resolve it.
