Doubt on Question 5 of "Animation System: Transition Settings"

Hello,
I have a doubt in Question 5 of “Animation System: Transition Settings” . I feel I have not understood the concept properly or the quiz is still wrong.

My understanding is, if a state A is transitioning to B and its interrupted by another state that is C, if A and B can transition to C then:
Current state is B.
Next state is C.

First of all i want to know if my understanding here is correct.

I have doubt in this question too. In my understanding current state is A and next state is B. However if this is true also the quiz seems to me to be wrong.
