DoF King focus

Because I had already done some depth of field earlier (didn’t know it was coming) I changed things up a little for this one. I wanted my king to pop out this time so I moved my lights around, and added a fill light to the left of the white pieces. My red lights is more among the black pieces and a blue light is just to the right.

Because I wanted my king to pop out even more I added a bevel modifier to the mesh giving it a bit smoother look. Don’t know if it because of the size but the bevel modifier with subsurface devision and shade smooth didn’t really do too much.

I also tweaked the white material giving it a bit of a yellow tint to it, and got it just a little bit metallic too.

Here is the result.

Oh, and my render time got up by alot when I added the DoF
