Does Blender have the vertex snapping option like Maya? In Maya, you can press V and you can snap to a vertice or X to the grid.

In addition to the picture above, activate the vertex snapping by clicking on the “vertex” then push the magnet symbol to have it on. Sometimes it’s easy to forget it’s on and later find that other vertices have been fused together. You can also leave the magnet symbol off and instead hold “ctrl” when wanting to fuse vertices. Vertex snapping will be on as long as ctrl is held.
