Different selection modes problem

v2.80.75
Can’t find (NEW/ADD/SUBTRACT/DIFFERENCE/INTERSECT) option in selection mode, the whole tab is missing in my version. Help

I’m a bit confused here, because “SUBSTRACT”, “DIFFERENCE”, … are more BOOLEAN modifier options.

And selection mode is more like selecting objects on different attributes …

I also what to advice to update Blender, because some of the 2.8x.x do have strange bugs.

Also starting a new Blend file and APPLY objects from your old project, will sometimes also help.

Hi Nevaid,

If you go to the top right corner of your blender window there should a drop down arrow to bring back the header bar.
On this is the buttons for the boolean selection method but they are no icons instead of worded buttons.

You can also find this contextual menu when under the screwdriver and wrench icon tab under the outliner

Hope this helps
