Decision to Make

The only real primary decision in the project that I have to make at the moment, is how much stealth mechanics are going to play. For the most part, the player will pick his battles, but how much should I encourage sneaking around? I will attempt to answer this by implementing it, and then adjusting parameters of things like enemy field of view and sound sensing range to better determine what the feel of the game is like and what choices the player would likely make then. That, and maybe sharing with the community a bit.
