Compiling within VScode and not Unreal?

I am on the Toon Tanks Beta portion of the course and it appears in 136 capsule component that the instructor is able to compile from within vscode as opposed to moving to Unreal to compile like we have done in the previous two segments.

I tried to compile like we did in TrippleX but it didn’t work for me and the instructor glosses over this. I would be interested in being able to do this as well.

Thank you.

That is done by using the build task.

Ctrl + Shift + B > ProjectNameEditor Platform Development Build.

Where ProjectName is the name of your project and Platform is the platform you’re targeting e.g. Win64

Thank you
