Chessboard with textures; Question how to create random patterns?

Like the marble tiles. Need to figure out how to have some randomness for each tile though. Does anyone have a suggestion short of creating a texture per tile. Right now every tile has the same pattern which is not what real marble would look like.

You have to play with the different settings. I don’t remember which, but there is a way to create what you’re looking for if you look through the settings for the texture. Also, the mapping coordinates do make a difference in achieving certain looks of a texture.
