Hey there! I decided to keep the set in starting position because I think there’s some intence feeling when two armies are about to start a battle. I’ve also decided to say farewell to my disco light set and get to more classical 3-point one (but I’ll play with it a little more).
Also I’ve played with board textures (to make it look closer to a nice board I found somewhere in the Internet). And finally, I came up with the idea that black and white marble texture for pieces are much better than the stock colors.

Looking good.
Just the White end of the board has wood grain in two directions up on the end sideways properly on the top.
