Finally Iām done with printing set from this course. I think it looks quite good. Transparent green are hollowed, just front pawn is fully filled and varnished, King is hollowed and varnished.
It is a lot of fun to print and physically feel own Blender work

Is that a resin printer?
The surface on the green looks a little irregular, is that the resins or some texture you added?

Yes, resin. Green looks like that because they are hollowed (apart of the dark pawn). Irregular surface is inside the figures and also this is visibility of the layering - they were printed in 45 degrees. On the pictures it is not so visible, but King is very smooth after few layers of varnish.

Ah. Certainly looks better when varnished. I recently got a printer, but only made the test print so far. I need to concentrate on making something worthy of printing out!
