I believe you hit the duplicate button in the tools menu while selecting the base instead of making a new duplicate save file for the pawn piece. To explain more clearly the base model we made in the last lecture will be used for all the chess pieces and we named that Chess Piece Base. You can open this file and click save as and rename it whatever piece you are working on, in this case Pawn. After you save the new file you can start manipulating your model without messing with the original base file. Once finished you can use the same Chess Piece Base file to start your next chest piece.
