Chess board pawns and bishops

I did do a bit of extra credit to set the origin of the pawn. Hopefully that’s not going to mess up a later lesson where we get shown how to correct that with the linked duplicates or something.

Also decided not to fight against Blender’s dupe naming convention with my own by renumbering. Also keeping spaces out of names because… programmer :wink:

Finally I kept all my origins for the empty objects at origin.

Oh my oh my. I always wanted to write a computer chess program to try out some ideas I have about timed play, draws, and also mobility as a measure of something.

I didn’t think about having a playable computer-chess opponent with boards and everything. I was thinking 2D position diagrams :wink:. Starting the Unity course may be my undoing
