Interesting streetside setting, table and bent end board.

I’m liking the bent end of the board as well, and also the tiered height of the different areas of the board as the pieces head for the center (lowest level). A nice touch. 
Thanks. I added some texture to the squares but I’m not sure if I’m going to keep it. It kind of looks noisy.

Re squares, how about that circular swirl scuffing type thing you see on some metal finishes? No do not ask me how. 
It’s an idea but like you I have no idea where to even start.
Hmmmm, I wonder if that wouldn’t make the board to “busy”, thereby detracting from the chess pieces.
