Character model 'collapses' into itself 0

Have change our existing character model with another one from Synty and this happens. Controls and animations and everything seems to be working fine, except the model seem to be squashed together.

What could be the reason for this issue?

ATM i am at RPG core combat.

You might be using the wrong avatar in the animator controller.

It’s the correct one

Make sure that you’re using the most recent version of the Synty package. They did have some scaling issues in past versions and have been updating them, although not all are up to date. In some of the Synty packages, you’ll also find two sets of characters, the second set being in a sub folder “FixedScaleCharacters”.

Another thing to watch out for is that sometimes when you drag a prefab into a gameObject (like when you replace the Synty character with another) it changes scaling somewhere in the prefab… look in the scale for the Y component, make sure it matches the scaling of the other components.
