Hello there!
I tried to merge periscope blocks but when I try to select more than a vertex, simply I can only select vertex on the same shape but not in different ones so I can’t merge.
These are my steps: first I select all the shapes, than I go from Object Mode to Edit Mode and I select vertex.
Where is the mistake?

merging verticis, as far as im aware only works on the single object that you currently in edit mode for.
so, basically edit mode, only works on one single highlighted object in the heirarchy at a time.
have you remembered to join the 3 parts together as in the previous lecture (duplicating and merging)?
so you should have one named ‘Cube’ instead of three. (cube, cube.001 and cube.002)

Well, my mistake was paying not too much attention to Merge Distance… I saw that, increasing the value, vertexes merged correctly.
