I updated my computer and had to re-download Blender. I am thinking that the color drop down may be in the user preferences window, but I am not able to find it. I am at lesson 251 so I am trying to stay with version 2.76 for now.

2.8 interface has been changed dramatically. So most of the features are in a more logic place now (but not all). Or moved to a group of work process.
