Can somebody explain to me what an “instance” is?
Think of a class like a construction plan for your object. For example a normal car wheel. Your wheel has a diameter, recommended air pressure and other attributes. This is your class. A basic construction plan.
If you now want to use your wheel you need to instantiate this class. So for a car all 4 wheels would be an instance of class wheel.
