Bunny hop

I after showing my daughter the Low-poly dinosaur, she asked for a bunny. So I did. After going through the Rigging & Animation section I when back to the bunny, added rigging and had it hop around following the camera. I made two attempts at it before this one. The first I scrapt because I was being too haphazard with it. the second I liked a lot better but I set it to render as I when to bed and Blender crashed. the problem was I forgot to it save! so not only did it not render I lost all the animation I did. But the third times the charm. I added some inverse kinematics to the front legs head and ears to make posing easier. and here you go hours of work for a 13 second clip. I would say this little guy is about 10 or so hours of work. I see things I would in it I think could be done better, but I think most creator feel that way, especially the beginners.

A fine bunny! Good for you, sticking with the project after the obstacles you encountered =)

In File–>Recover, there are two menu items (Last Session and Auto Save) that may be able to restore most of your lost work. Probably not now, but good to know about in future. Here’s hoping it goes a little smoother moving forward from here!

Really cool animation! Great work.

You can also try using repositories not just for being able to recover past work, but to undo mistakes that the all mighty control-z might won’t handle.

Interesting sideways movement to bunny.

When rendering always do it to .png and make them into the video. It is standard. Then anything completed before a crash will still be there and not need redoing.

Aww, the way it kept hopping to stay in the frame was cute. Nicely done! I’m glad you stuck with it despite the setbacks. Your daughter has good taste in favorite animals <3
