Boxing out a temple

This is the Dakshineshwar Temple, one of the foremost among those in my city, and mired in history.

This is my really boxy and not-so-well described version of its main building (edits include adding multi-materials):

I just couldn’t figure out how to get rid of the straight edges underneath the arches since these are essentially two chopped-off cylinders in right angles.

I really need to figure out how to make a template out of those towers to decorate the tops properly.

It is a great reproduction with limited tools.
Go through more of the course and come back to it with more knowledge and abilities, it looks a great subject to work on.
