Bowling Pin - Different Material Properties

Hi all!

I love the classic white and red look so I stuck with that for my pin.

However, Michael reminded us about edge slides so I also tried a “futuristic” pin with black and green stripes all the way down (demonstrating my total lack of artistic talent).

I didn’t spend too much time making the stripes perfectly even, but just wanted to practice some edge slides.

I’m imagining coming back to this after a future lesson and editing the “futuristic” green stripes to emit some neon lighting.

That’s brilliant. If you do come back to this and make the green parts emissive, I can’t quite decide whether it will look like a Tron-style bowling pin (might need to be lower poly!), or some sort of radioactive hand-grenade!
