Bowling ball starting from an UV sphere

Hi,

Is there anything wrong with this ?

Starting from an UV sphere (as it makes a perfect circle) then selecting appropriate vertices for fingers.

Bevel vertices then dissolve edges.

Inset faces then bevel edges loops

Subdivision

Render after shades smooth

Nope!

Except you have faces with 6 vertices. Luckily they don’t give you any problems.
select the ORANGE marked verices in edit mode, press J to make (split) faces.
The 6 vertices face become 4 vertices faces.
