While this challenge is slightly less relevant than others; if Rick made me a challenge then I’m blindlessly following it.
I’m Gary, a software development student from Scotland. I began software development in 2009 in university, but made it as far as the first year. Many years later I returned to education and studied games development for two years, working with blueprints in Unreal Development Kit then Unreal Engine. I have just completed my first year of software development (my games dev courses apparently didn’t move me anywhere up the ladder) and have this year worked with C#, Java and SQL. I have a small amount of past knowledge of C+, JavaScript, ActionScript, HTML and CSS.
I plan to use my software development experience to fluently learn programming languages, and then I will bring that knowledge over to refine it towards games development.
