Blender creator course_animal sculpting

Hi Everyone
My first try of sculpting an animal. I chose a dog. My computer is not powerful enough so after I struggled a few days with the hair particles, I decided to change the skin of the dog for the velvet shader. Which kind of makes it look like a very short haired dog.
The second picture is with hair particles, but not very happy with it.
Any advice or constructive criticism welcome

Brilliant dog model!
Great sand dunes and grass scene setting.

Only something a bit lumpy on the top back of the front legs?

I agree about the hairs and have had the same view about short haired animals, that particle hair does not easily give a realistic result and something more on the lines you have done works better.

thank you for the feedback!
yeah you are right about those lumps. they looked better on the reference photo I used. They were more boney. I guess I could not recreate them properly, hopefully next time going to be better.

thank you!

Still a very good achievement. Hair particles are a difficult Blender aspect. Only explained superficially.
