Working on Grant’s Character Creator course for Blender. I just completed the step of adding the normal/AO/cavity maps along with a base color for the skin. My question is this: Why does the color show up similar to the base color I’ve chosen in the material preview, but in cycles is much redder/more orange? I don’t know what the true color is, or what to choose here for the base skin tone.
I don’t understand where all the lighting information comes from but I changed the hdri I was using to something more neutral and that does seem to have made a big difference in how predictable the render coloring was. Thx.
