Welcome to the Unreal Engine Developer

Hi - I’m from the US. This course is my first attempt into game development. I think learning C++ and Unreal will make it easier to learn C# and Unity later on. I certainly want to learn both eventually. Also, it seems the graphics in Unreal are more detailed.

Hi - I’m from India. I love playing games and I’ve been playing games for a long time now. So, I decided to give Game Dev a go. I’m currently pursuing Engineering in Computer Science.

Hi - I’m from New York, working at a VR studio in production. I want to learn more about game engine development and would like to create my own games. Happy to be here!

Hello!
My name is Johannes. Been playing games for my entire life, and always wanted to learn to code. But never really found an effective way for it. Until i found this! Hoping for good learning and to gain some good experience.

Hello everyone

I always loved games, I hope to make it my work some day, so that’s why I am here.

Hi Everyone. New person here.

I’m a fourth year computer science student at Hull. I’ve spent almost all of my time in Unity/C# and I really want to expand my range into C++. Unreal isn’t my favourite engine and I’ve disliked using it in the past. I’m hoping over this course I will get to understand it like I haven’t before and maybe begin to respect why people still use it

Whaddup everyone. Aaron here, just trying to learn a skill. I am interested in developing and sharpening my mind, and this seems to be another way to do such a task. I love games, so I thought perhaps I would enjoy creating them.

Hello everyone, I’m a third year Digital Animation student from Chile, loved games since I was little and have always wanted to make them, and since my university focus is in movie development I decided to take this course to start specialising more in the game industry area which I like more, hope I learn a lot from this.

Hello everyone! Im a 2nd year Software Developer trying to start my first C++ experience using this Unreal Engine Developer Course. I want to focus my career towards game and front-end development. I hope to learn as much as possible with this course and of have fun doing it;)!

Hi all,

My name is Matt and I’m a audio engineer that loves games. I’m especially interested in sound design so I’m doing this course to make a super awesome showreel in the form of a short fps game. I can’t wait to be making games sound great for a living, that’t the dream.

I’m also really keen on collaborating with other game developers. If that’s you and you need a sound designer for anything at all whether it be advice or sounds for a project then feel free to get in touch.

Regards,
Matt

Hi!

I’m Harrison

An 18yo male student who is learning to create VR games in the unreal engine for my computer science course (English A-Level)

I’m excited to take part in this course and if anybody else is interested in VR game development for Unreal please message me. I think it would be great to talk to people with the same passion as me! I’ve been working with an Oculus DK2 since 2015 but this will be my first time creating something for it myself

I’m also open to any kind of conversation, so please message me if feel like chatting as well

Hi everyone,

My name is Adam. I picked up this course to finally delve into C++ to enhance my abilities as a game designer. A little bit about me: I spent the last 3 1/2 years working at Epic Games on the Engine Support and Marketplace teams. My specific focus was on Blueprint Scripting, though I’m also fairly good at landscapes, foliage, BSPs, and some material work. I saw this course and decided that I needed to push myself to the next level of development.

My primary interests are in character mechanics design, though any sort of systems design or various cool things that you can do with the Unreal Engine. I run a stream where I develop and do blueprint tutorials, so feel free to stop on by and say hi, I love meeting new people! My stream is twitch.tv/zombi3bear. I’m looking forward to completing this course and getting to know new people in the industry.

Yo,

I’m a CS Graduate in Chicago looking for a UE4 project to work on.

If you have vision and a need for a C++ programmer, let me know.
I love Mathematics, Physics, Astronomy, Game Design and e-sports.

Hi. I’m Mitchel
Location: Newcastle, Ontario (Canada)

I’m taking this Udemy course a long with a couple others to get myself familiar with the ins and outs of game development. I want to eventually direct an independent studio with full creative control over my projects.

If any of you are interested in cooperating on future projects, you can contact me at nightzaber@hotmail.ca

Hello there! My name is Michael but go by Ariedien everywhere else on the web.

I am taking this course because I have been a lifelong gamer and have always wanted to get into game development. I have tried learning code a few other times and can read code ok, just could never apply it. I hope to one day make at least one game from the ideas I have had, even if it is just for my personal use.

Howdy y’all!

I’m a self taught web developer, but I’ve always wanted to try to make a career of game development. I’m just for the first time learning a compiled language like C++, as well as Unreal Engine 4. This is a pretty exciting experience, and I’m looking forward to sharing my work with y’all!

Hi there, Dan here. Just touching base to introduce myself. I am a high school English teacher in Western Australia and am very interested in learning how to use code. I have two young children and believe this is the new language and skills they will definitely be using when they hit school age and beyond. I would like to be a part of the learning experience, as well as create something myself. I am looking forward to the journey.

Hi, my names Russell and I’ve been an avid gamer since my older brother got his first PS1 back in 1995. I’ve decided that I want to shake up my life and maybe learn how to create in the medium I love to experience. I live in Leicester so if anyone else from there wants to create a chat group or anything, drop me a line.

FYI: I am a complete n00b at this

Happy Coding Everybody!

Salutations everyone,
My name is Stephen and i’m currently a computer science student at st francis xavier university Nova Scotia Canada looking to pursue gaming just like the rest of you guys. Video games has always been a passion of mine growing up and now having the opportunity to use the c++ skills I have developed so far to build games is an exciting endeavor. I wish everyone the best of luck throughout this course.

Hi all,
I’m Cristobal, I’m from Chile. I’ve loved videogames since I can remember. I decided I wanted to become a gamedev a long time ago, but life has gotten me a little down from time to time, but I hope this time I’ll be able to progress in my learning.
