Hi, i had a small issue with my shadow, when i rendered it out, it went red, but in the 3D view and render view it’s in a normal gray colour. I can’t upload my file yet, because it shows, new user’s ain’t allowed to :wink:

Hello,

I am currently using Blender 2.78 and I really cannot keep up with the training course as several steps and operations in the UI do not exist in 2.78. For instance the “Exclude Layer” does not exist.
I am attaching a print screen of my Blender 2.78 UI

Could you please help/advise ?

I’ve just tried the version 2.77 and still the UI is different from the one in the training session!
Many UI operations do not exist in my UI so I cannot follow the training. What is going on? Any idea?
I use Linux Mint everywhere :slight_smile:

Sorry I had chosen the “Blender Render”. I selected the “Cycles Render” and everything seems OK.
