Hello, Im doing fine with most of the exercises, but it is simple things that are throwing me off, Im stuck with entering numbers or words in the appropriate spaces, for instance, naming an object like 'cube 5" after I type it in ,normally I would hit “return” to enter it, but it does not register, nor does right click on mouse or left click, . Why can I not enter any text or numbers?,It is ridiculous!
ok, I figured out my dilemma with the help of Alex Cordabard from Blenedermaniac, in the right side transform bar, under ‘View’ it opens up with ‘lock to object’ I have to click ‘view’ to switch it to 3d curser and then under 'Item " I can then type a name and yes hitting 'Return.enter is the correct promo!,thanks Alex and everyone!

Thanks for posting the solution! I ran into that issue while working with someone else’s mesh but never tried to figure it out so this will be useful info in the future.
