Basic Test Level + Mini Map

I was getting really frustrated with the controls (I’ve never really been one for Flappy bird or Crossy road type games), so I tried disabling gravity, and it’s a whole new game! I find it a lot more fun. Also, without the constant up or down, I decided to try making it first person, to change the game up a bit. It’s a bit awkward, but I find it a lot more fun. I also added a mini map (quick google search helped a lot), so that I can figure out where I am in first person. I know I got a bit estranged from the core mechanics, but it made the whole game a lot better, as the core mechanics weren’t working great for me.

Here’s my level:

And here’s the gameplay view from the start pad.

I am still running into the bug where the rocket gets a little bit tilted around x&y, despite locking those. It’s a lot more of a problem with the camera tied to the rocket.

mini maps are an important feature; i’ve been thinking about how to work it in on some game ideas.
