this section was a lot of fun and has taught me a lot about blender. after rendering the video there is a lot I would change but seeing how it took 5 hours to render I think I’ll call it good lol
That was a lot of video for five seconds! I almost feel like it sells itself short because of that, but of course you were doing as instructed, so that was the time given.
Love it!
To have the lamp switch on, I’m guessing you just keyframed the strength of the lamp inside it?
Thank you for your comment. Yes I thought about running longer but the render time was already pretty long.
Yes for the blinking light I keyframed the spotlight’s strength at difrent levels.
Awesome! You’re too good for this
Anyway, here is mine, and it is CLUMSY! (I could not help myself to keep it at 5 secs) Clumsy lamp
that’s a great animation @Tomi_Bari i make sure you share it in its own post.
Great Job
Nice Lamp.
Did you render it smaller or less steps/detail? Ths would allow you to render out a small (low quality) like a preview to “see” how it looks in less time. when perfect, increase the render to a final output at full res.
but ALWAYS Remember to cellebrate small victories (as opposed to expecting a pixar-quality off the bat and discouraging/disqualifying youself as an animator)
Great first run!.. look how you can improve for next time, Incorporate change in hte next project and don’t beat yourself up too badly and finaly…
KEEP COPIES of your earlier years (I did with my human head when I was learnign in a nother project. Looking back you can do a comparison and “fix” mistakes in ytour earlier ones and actually see how far you came!
This is how I tend to excell far ahead of itehrs at work in Graphic Designing and raise the bar for all that follow!
(great job by the way)
Thanks, @Larry_B some good advice. The render was done at a lower quality first but I was excited to get the final render out lol. I feel some of the timing is off/slow and I should have run a little longer also the sphere that rolls up to the lamp is not smoothed oops, but I am happy with the final for the most part or at least happy enough to move on to the next section. The rabbit is proving to be quite challenging lol.
I am keeping all the files so maybe I will revisit some of them later after I have finished the course. I’ve also decided to journal my progress here if you would like to check it out.
thanks for your comments and advice.
