i appreciate the help i guess from how you describe it it is better to have backup files and git
I use backup and git. I used to use unity version control but switched to git after doing the git course here. I was also originally a bit intimidated by git but there is no reason to be. its really very easy to use for 99% of daily use cases when you pair it with sourcetree( also covered in git class).
its honestly exrta funny that i was a bit intimidated by it because I used it for work before this. but for work I only to pull to docker images. never the actual dev work behind the scenes. idk why for some reason i thought it was going to be more complicated than it is. total cakewalk after a pretty short class.
