About the new multiplayer course

I was very excited to see the new Unity multiplayer course, which I wanted to study for a long time. But I have a question: in the Unity blog, they say that they are in the process of deprecating their UNet framework, and building a new Connected Games framework. So I would like to know what is the relation between the Mirror system, that you teach in the course, to these two frameworks - UNet vs. ConnectedGames. Can you please clarify this?
