A coworker of mine has been telling me about his 3D printer than he just got. When he mentioned that he used Blender I showed him my Temple model and he printed it for me!

I want a 3D printer so bad. It would be extremely cool to be able to see my models in real life. Great model too by the way!
Still waiting for a 3D printer that I backed on Kickstarter (hopefully it’ll come in a month or two), will definitely have to print off some stuff I made in the course 
That is ridiculously cool. Is that tilework on the top of the structure? It looks like a texture.
If you can 3D-print this, I’d be so tempted to create figurines and “G.I. Joe” stuff… crazy new guns, and what-not…
It’s not textured (at least, not intentionally). It has a roughness to it which I think is just a side affect of the printing process.
