First time to use blender and I first tried creating a cannon and have this output. I’m still trying to set-up the camera and lights properly though and still need to learn lots of stuff. 
I might also need a better laptop/PC due to slow rendering process but still I enjoyed doing these 3d stuff hahaha

You can do almost everything in Eevee render mode. And it’s fast too.
Then no need for new hardware. And you can learn Blender at ease and maybe in the future invest in better or even professional hardware.
