Questions that came up during work:
#1 Which Shortcut Key centers the view in 3D View to the slected Object?
#2 When I merge opposite vertices of one face of a cube (e.g. to build a front edge as of the bow in this exercise) Would the face disappear automatically? Or would I end up with a zomby face? And thus better should remember to delete the face before merging the vertices?
hy Tomgerm, stand´s the germ in your name for Germany?!? then it would be more easy for me to answer to you…but anyway.
To center the selected Object is the “,” on the Numpad. so it stay´s in “focus” for rotation too.
to the second question if i understand it the right way… if you merge two vertices for example of a Cube so it will build a closed new face for this “handmade” Object. the short way - no there will be no Zombie Face left after a merge. Since Blender uses the Ngon Face Method the things with faces is so much more easy to handle.
Hope i can help you a little bit… and sorry for the poor english cause i am from Germany.
…so keep on “Blending”
Hi Ricky,
yes the germ stands for germ (germ: Bazille) and Germany
also Danke!
Das mit dem Pad-, hatte ich inzwischen entdeckt. Der Ngon-Face Hinweis ist erhellend.
